There are many levels available to support this program. You can choose from sponsoring a single child, a classroom, a school, or you can become a program partner by matching the annual contribution of the Founding Sponsor Paul Lloyd of PasWord Group.
We are working with experienced and professional music instructors who will implement the program and develop the curriculum in partnership with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the Mohawk College Music Program. We will need your help to ensure that high-quality music education can be made available to ALL children in our community.
Your donation will go directly towards helping children learn. An Instrument For Every Child is a non-for-profit organization with minimal administrative overhead.
SUPPORT A CHILD
$35 = 1 month of instrumental instruction
$300 = 1 year of instrumental instruction
SUPPORT A CLASS
$750 = 1 month of instrumental instruction for an entire class
$7,000 = 1 year of instrumental instruction for an entire class
SUPPORT AN AIFEC MUSIC INSTRUCTOR
$2,000 = the annual fee for a Grade 1 AIFEC instructor
DONATE AN INSTRUMENT
An Instrument For Every Child is always in need of the following instruments in working condition:
- Violins, violas, cellos and double basses of all sizes
- Flutes, clarinets, saxophones
- Trumpets, trombones, french horns, tubas
- Timpani, snare drums, other orchestral percussion
- African and Latin percussion
